Conference Poster Essentials: From Research to Design Online

During this online session, you will receive step-by-step guidance on creating a professional and engaging conference poster and a run through of where to find and how to edit the Monash Health conference poster templates.

Audience: Clinicians, researchers, and affiliated healthcare students.

We are excited to announce that the 2026 Poster Design Competition is open for submissions.

Whether you've transformed complex research into a compelling visual story or created a poster that stood out at a conference, we'd love to see it.

🏆 Prize: The winning poster will be showcased during Research and Innovation Week 2026 (7–11 September) and the winners will receive an Android tablet. Prizes will be awarded for the best Monash Health poster and best Medical, Nursing & Midwifery, Allied Health, Pharmacy and non-clinical posters (based on first author).

  • Submission deadline: 5.00 pm, 23 August 2026

  • Eligibility: Open to all Monash Health researchers

  • Entry requirement: Posters must showcase research conducted at Monash Health and clearly display a Monash Health affiliation, including the appropriate Monash Health or Monash Children’s logo(s). Visit the Library’s Conference Poster Guide for branding guidance, poster templates and design resources.

  • Judging criteria: Design, creativity and visual impact only (scientific content will not be assessed)
